The Daye Technology Green Building Materials Demonstration Park was successfully completed in March 2022, with a total investment of over 2.1 billion yuan. The base aims to create a "safe, green, and smart mine throughout its entire lifecycle" and adopts a "mining, reclamation, farming, and landscaping" model. It mainly includes five parts: green ecological mines, high-quality sand and gravel base projects, belt conveyor corridor projects, garden style docks, and modern agriculture. Among them, the green ecological mining area has a resource reserve of 600 million tons and an annual production capacity of 30 million kilowatt hours, and has won the first batch of large-scale green sand and gravel bases in China's sand and gravel industry; The high-quality sand and gravel base has been recognized by the Municipal Commission of Economy and Information Technology as an "intelligent factory" and a "digital workshop for sand and gravel production dedicated to intercity high-speed railways"; Guided by green concepts, the Zhenxi Garden style Wharf aims to build a new type of port with low energy consumption and low pollution, with a loading capacity of 6000 tons per hour; Modern agriculture has built 360.9 acres of high standard land, creating an agricultural technology platform to incubate smart agriculture+photovoltaics, ecological reshaping, agricultural experience economy, etc.
On April 25, 2024, the Three Year Action Plan for the Construction of Safe, Green and Smart Mines throughout the Life Cycle and the Fundamental Tackling of Mine Safety in Chongqing was held at the Daye Science and Technology Green Building Materials Demonstration Park. Pei Wentian, Deputy Director of the National Mining Safety Supervision Bureau, and Jiang Duntao, Deputy Mayor of Chongqing Municipal People's Government, attended the meeting and highly affirmed the achievements of safe, green and smart mining development throughout the life cycle.
